Deleting your Facebook and Instagram data
When you connect a Facebook Page or Instagram account to Unified Orders we store the account identifiers, names, profile pictures and an encrypted access token. This page explains how to remove them. Unified Orders is a trading name of Meena Supplies Limited (company number 08970316).
Option 1: disconnect inside Unified Orders
- Sign in to Unified Orders and open Channels.
- Open the Facebook or Instagram account you want to remove.
- Choose Disconnect. The stored access token is deleted immediately and we can no longer publish to that account.
Option 2: remove the app from Facebook or Instagram
- Facebook: Settings & privacy → Settings → Business integrations, find Unified Orders and choose Remove.
- Instagram: Settings → Apps and websites, find Unified Orders and choose Remove.
Once access is removed, Meta stops our token working and we stop publishing. We delete the stored token and account details within 30 days.
Option 3: ask us to delete everything
Email privacy@unifiedorders.com from the address on your account, with the subject “Delete my Meta data”, and name the Page or Instagram account. We will delete all stored data relating to it, including posts we published from our own records, and confirm by email within 30 days.
Posts already published on Facebook or Instagram belong to you and stay on those platforms unless you delete them there. See our privacy policy for more detail.
